Inaugural Tasting Event at the LOLA HOUSE

Our inaugural tasting event took place this past Thursday. Guests enjoyed a lot of great wines from LOLA and a variety of LOLA signature dishes prepared by Chef Mic Cripe. Big thanks to all of the guests who made the trip to Calistoga for this momentous event. We’ve been working hard to build the LOLA House so we can host all of the special friends and family who have supported LOLA over the years.

The Young Fellows of the Morgan Library & Museum held its annual Summer Soiree on Wednesday, June 25. We were among the hundreds of guests who attended the event and enjoyed a night of hors d’oeuvres, cocktails, and live music beneath the recently unveiled Spencer Finch installation in Gilbert Court. The unforgettable moment was having a glass of wine in Mr. Morgan’s Library and looking through his collection of first edition books and scripts.

Ibiza may be known for its night life and party scenes, but we had the most fun at the break of dawn when everything was calm and peaceful after a night of eating, drinking, and dancing. To us, the most unforgettable sceneries from Ibiza were the beach, the sand, the water, the fresh seafood, and the beautiful company.

We were among the nearly 500 guests who attended the Frick’s Spring Garden Party, Sprezzatura: A Celebration of Italian Renaissance Poetry and Style. As the evening began, we headed outside to the beautiful and rarely open Fifth Avenue Garden, which was landscaped to resemble gardens of the Italian Renaissance. Guests enjoyed the art, drinks, conversations, and ended the night with a lot of music and dancing. Needless to say, it was a magical evening!
